My past two mornings have been long ones............
You see, I am an Indiana girl and I have never in my life had to change my clocks!! This is my first year with the whole time change. Daylight savings may, in all its purposes, be good and I don't have a problem with that! I am just not used to it and it would probably not be a big deal if it was just me. You see.... I know how to sleep in but my kids don't.........
They go to bed at 8:00 and wake up around 7 or 8. The past two days they are still waking up at the same time as they would normally but because of the time change...... wake up time is now 6am in the morning!!!!!!! I tried telling them that just because your little bodies are used to something, it doesn't mean that you can't try and sleep into the "new" proper time!!
All in all, they will get used to it and in about a week hopefully their little bodies will adjust!! Till then this mom has an extra hour on her hands to entertain her little ones!!! (and one less hour of sleep) (wink wink, smile)

Titus is VERY routine-oriented, so I thought we were in BIG trouble...but so far (cross my fingers) he hasn't even acted like he noticed the time change...um, I am still not adjusted...how did he get off so easy??? Not that I am complaining...I just think he shocks me every day...
Hopefully Grace and Dax will catch on soon! Are they at least going to bed earlier?!?

At least they're going to bed at eight. My 2 year-old has not been wanting to go to bed before 9:30 lately. Then I start my school work, then my graduate class work, then my house work, then I think about bed around midnight. Enough of my complaining though :~) I hope they get on schedule soon Annie.

Welcome to the world of time change! I've been doing it for 25 years!! It is a pain though. Kendall adjusted pretty good but she is getting up earlier too now so I can sympathize. It'll get better soon.
Love ya!
