"How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:1-2

Prayer Request....

It was a sad day yesterday at the Seasons. The owner has decided at this time that he is not reopening The Seasons. Just one day prior I thought what a miracle that it didn't ruin the kitchen, dining room and lobby area and I assumed they would at least have it partially open in a month or so, just without as many rooms until they got rebuilt.

Instead, my dad had to call all of his faithful employees and tell them that they do not have jobs anymore. What is so sad is that so many of the employees at the Seasons have been there just as long as my parents or longer! (20, 30, and even 40 years)It was hard on my dad not only to call these people but also to begin to worry about his and my mom's future. It is still early and something may change but as of right now this is the owner's decision.

So please pray for these people!! I know you don't know them and that you don't know their stories but I do and my heart is heavy for them. They all have unique stories and lives and to them this is huge!! It is not the younger crowd that I am most concerned about but more the people who have been there soo long. It isn't very easy to find new jobs as we might think. Plus, change can be very hard on people!

*Pray that God's will be done in this situation and that ultimately He will be glorified!
*Pray that these individuals will feel the hand of God on their lives and that they will have peace in their hearts as they prepare for the future!
*Pray that this situation can be used to bring people to God whether in a new relationship or a closer one! Mostly, that they will experience His love!

I prayed about this situation. Any updates? Have your parents found new employment?
