Our very first earache...

Ladies and Gentlemen.....

We now have had our very first earache! Poor Dax has an earache in his right ear and is now on Antibiotics. He's had a runny nose this past week and just yesterday started holding his ear and saying "Ouch."

Praise God that this is our very first one considering most kids get at least one to two earaches a year on average. (Some friends of mine deal with earaches all the time with their kids)

We have gone 4 years with Grace and almost two years with Dax! Amazing! This will be only the second time our family has had antibiotics! I really do feel blessed with the good health of our kids!!

Wow! I thought we had gone a long time with David (16 months). Poor Dax. I know how miserable David was, and it seems to be lingering because every so often I see him touching his ear. I've been keeping my eye on it though; I hope it is gone. I think babies who are nursed are far less likely to get ear infections and to just be healthy over all. How long did you nurse your kiddos?

You are lucky. Both of my kids have had double ear infections twice in the last 4 months now. The doctor to watch it cause if it continues then they will have to get tubes in their ears. My husband had that problem when he was little I guess. Keep those kids well, hope you were ableto enjoy the beautiful weather lately. I know we sure did.

That's great!! We haven't had any yet either (almost 2.5 years). I attribute it somewhat to not having her in daycare. Both my sister's boys have been in daycare since very young, and they both had to have tubes in their ears before 2 years old. Lots of ear infections!!!
