"How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:1-2

Only at home....

I thought I would share something funny with you!

I took the kids to a playground after lunch (not the one pictured below.... thank goodness). I had Hayden in one arm and I had my other arm ready to catch Dax if he decided to do something funny! For example, just jump off the top of the playground or try to do the monkey bars by himself. Then Grace started on the monkey bars too which only encouraged Dax to do it more and I told them to stop! (Neither one can do it without help I might add!) Well, as the story goes, they did not stop! I decided it was time to go and I used my motherly authority. We headed home but not without some consequences!!
(don't worry it gets funny)
I put Dax and Hayden to bed for naps and proceeded to Grace's room to talk to her about why she got in trouble! I ask her if she is going to listen to me next time we go to the park?
She looks at me pitifully with tears in her eyes and says, "No, I only want to listen to you at home."
We will have to work on that one..........
