Hayden's Dedication.....

Can anyone believe that Hayden is 6 months old already?

Sunday was a fun day because we had Hayden's baby dedication and a little party afterwards! Dedications are always a special event! Our pastor finds the meaning of their names and God gives him verses that he then prays over the children.

Here is the meaning of his name:

Hayden - English = Hedged Valley

Matthew - Hebrew = Gift of God

He had these two verses for Hayden

Psalm 91:1-2 "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."

Psalm 96:3-4a "Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise."

What a blessing Hayden has been in our lives already!! We thank God for giving him to us!
