"How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:1-2

Update on Friend....

Sadly, and with a broken heart, I wanted to let you know that my friend's husband died yesterday afternoon. It was a week of both highs and lows for all our emotions as we totally believed that God was going to heal him on earth. Instead, he has been healed in Heaven and is dancing with the King as we speak! Even though the outcome was not what we wanted we know that God is still awesome and worthy to be praised! God is still the same God that allowed us to feel His presence so strongly this week at the hospital and the supernatural peace that God gave us during the week will still be the same God who will get us through the next week and the many weeks to follow. He loves Denny! He loves Jennifer! He loves her boys and He loves all of us!

Your prayers are still needed for Jennifer and her boys. She has a 8 year old named Jacob, a 4 year old named Samuel and a two year old named Elijah. Her journey through grief has just begun and even though God gives us hope to see our loved ones again, it is still hard to face life here on earth without them. Last night, she expressed that it still felt like a dream and that she only wished she could wake up, so please pray that as reality begins to set in that she would continue to lean on God for her strength.

Your prayers were felt this week at the hospital in a strong and powerful way, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart! God is good!!

Annie, I am so sorry to hear this. The family will be in our prayers.

Thanks for the comments on my blog- you are too sweet.

And to answer your question: No! She hasn't continued to sleep for 9 hours. Grace went to bed around 11:30 last night, woke up at 4:15 and then again at 6:30. Oh well!

That is so bittersweet - I rejoice that he knew the Lord, but my heart aches for his wife and kids who are grieving. It is hard for me not to think about my own family and give them extra hugs and kisses. Life is so short, and it is easy to take it for granted. Lots to think about, but I am glad you were able to go last weekend and support your friend at the hospital...

Prayers,
Michelle

Annie that is so sad. You have to live life like it is the last everyday. You never know when your time is up. She is to young to go through this right now and with little kids too, that is one thing I fear in life, Death of a love one near and dear to my heart. Take care and let her know that God is watching her and her kids and she has several people praying for her.
