The weekend before the 4th of July we got to attend Picnic with the Pops which is an outdoor concert featuring the local Orchestra all set to patriotic tunes or popular music today. At the end of the show they set off fireworks and the best part was that we got in free!! Gene received free tickets from work because they helped sponsor the event!! It was a late night for the kids but well worth it!! Here are our pictures from last year!!

Hayden loved moving our blanket everywhere and Dax liked the shuttle ride because it was pulled by a tractor!
We sat near the back so the kids had plenty of room to run and play!!

Looks like a fun time! It's nice you live close by to do something fun like that. You know we would have to drive forever to do something like that.
