"How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:1-2

Asher is 9 months old...

Asher turned 9 months old at the beginning of June. He's growing up way too fast just like the rest! He takes two naps a day and eats 3 meals plus nursing! He is mostly eating big people food and screams if we don't share with him what we are eating. He doesn't mind being on his belly finally and is getting close to crawling. He can drink from a bottle now which means I can leave him for a little bit. He definitely is a Mommas boy and wants me to hold him if I am near him. He still doesn't have any teeth but I think we are getting close. At his appointment, he weighed 19 lbs 7 oz (25-50%) and was 28 inches (50%). If those numbers are correct that actually makes him my smallest kid. Hayden was just a few ounces bigger and about an inch longer. I kept thinking he was my biggest because of his Roley poly legs but I guess not. He is the shortest which makes for chubby thighs...I guess! He's really starting to thin out now that he is getting more mobile.
We just love him to pieces!!

We love him too! Aaron keeps talking about holding him at the church party a few weeks ago and how cute he is!

Hey! I'm not sure why I haven't de-lurked before but my name's Sarah and I went to IWU w/ you and your hubby during our freshmen year! I have four children ages 5, 4, 2, and five months...so close to your children's!!! (only I have three girls and one boy) We're also homeschooling and it's just been so fun to see a family that's in the same fun and busy boat as we are!

Hi Sarah,
I am so glad you commented! I agree that it is so much fun to see other families who are in the same life stage as you are and especially ones that have similar stories! I would love to know more about your family! I totally need tons of advice about homeschooling... we had a rusty start this year! ;) It's all good though!! Were you the Sarah that was pretty good friends with Jenny Pieffer? Just curious? Thanks again for commenting and I can't wait to hear from you again!
