Gene and I could not wait for this night..... we knew for a few months that we had these tickets! A lady who works with my dad has season tickets and hardly uses them so she offered them to my dad who then gave the four tickets to my sister and I! They were GREAT Seats!! Only 11 rows up! (the picture doesn't give it justice) Since it was a Monday night football game on ESPN, the tickets were selling for hundreds of dollars! (We got them FREE) We got to have a night out without the kids and watch a great football game in which the Colts won!!

It was a fun night! The only sad thing was that Gene and I arrived early downtown and we encountered so many homeless people. I have been to Indy a million times and know it well but have never seen so many homeless as I did last night. It just breaks my heart to see people sleeping on the cold concrete. I just pray that I can remember them daily in my prayers!
Sometimes I forget the reality of such things............

Glad you guys can have some time to yourselves without the kids. David and I are doing something in Jan. without devin and we are excited. Makes you realize being away form them how much you miss and love them. Looks like you had fun. I hope they won the game!!
So cool!! What a great game to go to.
How fun!! I would love to go to an NFL game sometime, and I know Stephen is DYING to see the Lions (even though they are terrible)...we tried to go to the Colts/Lions game a couple years ago, but they sold out SUPER fast.
It would be fun to go sometime with you guys, but it might be hard to get tickets...maybe next year!
