"How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:1-2

What a busy week.....

We finally finished decorating our tree...

My Usborne Books Christmas Party

I sell Usborne books and I had this Christmas Open house this past Monday. I made all kinds of goodies and had coffee, teas and hot chocalate! Grace even helped me make some of the cookies, muffins and truffles!! I gave prizes away and free books plus it gave people an opportunity to see the assortment of books that Usborne has to offer! Plus..... it was a great way to get Christmas shopping done! I had a great turnout and had fun doing it too!!

Along with my open house party, a friend from Church had a party! (I do home parties like Mary Kay) So all week, I was busy collecting orders and money from various people! (the pictures above are just a few of the books I had displayed)

Grace came to me and said, "Mommy, I am a superhero!"

Some other highlights....

* My "ME Time" steering team leaders/ladies (like MOPS) went out for a retreat.... We get to think of ideas for our coming up meetings and then we get to hang out at Olive Garden without our kids!!! The food was great but the best part was just hanging out with 6 awesome ladies!!
* On Thursday, I did that yucky glucose test!! Not too bad this time, usually I get a major headache and feel sick!! I passed the glucose part but my iron was super low (10.2)!! They are giving me a prescription for some Iron supplements and my midwife also said to increase my red meat intake or egg yolks!!

Maybe I should have added the glucose test to my "weird list" - I love the flavor of the drink they had me take (reminded me of orange pop) and so it was like getting a free drink. They actually had to do the test twice because they forgot to write down the results the first time :) It is one of the few things besides an ultrasound I look forward to in pregnancy :) Ha, am I weird or what?!? :)

Glad you had a fun week!

You're around 28 weeks, right? I still have a few more weeks before I go back for that test. I don't mind he taste, but it's not the best. Glad to hear you guys are doing well this week!!

Hey Annie!
Glad to see that you are doing well and keeping busy. Just remember to relax a little too! I had low iron with Kendall too. I had to take a iron pill once a day so it was no biggie. I'll give you a call this week. Loveya!
