"How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord, my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:1-2

My Crazy stinky bad day.....

Wednesday was one of those bad days.........

-At 9:00 I get a call that my brother Robby has a rare bone marrow disease, in which I will blog about more later. From there I was on the phone almost all day long with people and friends.

-I was also trying to plan my steering team meeting which was at 3:30 and make sure everyone was going to be there. The May Brunch, our biggest event, is coming up in one week! Needless to say, it was hard to concentrate but we had to go ahead and meet because of time constraints.

-Gene arrived at home from work at 1:00 and we got some more stinky news. A job that Gene and I were hoping for did not work out. It was bittersweet for me because in some ways I am glad that I get to stay and not move, but it would have been a great job for our family. God must have different plans even though it seemed like a perfect job. (we thought we had the job in the bag, so it was quite the surprise to us)

-I was in the toddler room at church which was fine but just one more thing that day.

-Finally, to top it all off, I got sick on the way home and threw up allllll night long till about 7am the next day. Luckily, Gene was off on Thursday to take care of the kids and let me sleep to get back my strength. I was so dehydrated that night I thought I might go crazy!! (smile)

What a stinky day!!!!!!

Annie! Yikes! We'll be praying for you guys. I'm surprised he didn't get the job. But that's alright. God must have something else in mind. Hope you are feeling better.

Yuck!! Any idea why you got sick? Let us know more specifics about your brother so we can pray more specifically.

I think there is a bug going around because Riley had it and I'm just getting over it! I can't believe you were in a marathon after...you are so strong Annie! Your fam is in our prayers. Thank God you have a wonderful family to comfort you in these times. If you need anything, even just to talk, I am here. Love ya, Kiana
