We have had some major flooding in our area and all the surrounding areas!! We had mostly flash flooding in area (last wednesday)but some of the areas around us were affected much more heavily! Luckily, our house is fine and so is our neighborhood.
The picture on the left is really close to where Gene works. He just happened to leave work early that day to go to church with us or his car would have been submerged in water too. (as you can imagine we never made it to Church that day but feel blessed that he wasn't stuck in all that water) The picture on right is where our mall is located! Crazy huh!!

Wow! How scary! What a blessing that Gene made it home safely- with his car.
That is crazy! I remember back when I was working in a city park along the river during college summers it flooded really bad one time, and I just couldn't stop just looking in amazement at all the water and thinking how different it normally is! I am glad you guys are all OK!!!

Wow, that is a ton of water! What a relief that Gene was able to make it home safely in the car. I'm so glad that your house and neighborhood didn't suffer any damage.
