We loved watching the Winter Olympics as a family! In fact, we probably let them stay up past their bedtime more in those two weeks then we ever have!! (at least the older ones) They loved it all, especially the ice skating! (It made me miss skiing too!!)
So soon after the Olympics ended we decided to take the kids ice skating! Grace had been begging to go!! :)
It was a unique experience! Gene and I have only gone a few times ourselves so we are not experts to teach them but we tried!! It was a little hard to help them stay on their feet and at the same time stay on our own feet!! Luckily, the adults never fell but the kids fell quite a few times!!
They are only open during winter so maybe next year we go more often!
Grace was actually getting the hang of it by the end of the day!! It was fun!
