I've been wanting a DSLR for a while now and had been saving my money for just the right time! Well, I am happy to say that I brought one this month!! We brought the Nikon D40

A combination of credits from our old camera, which broke under warranty, some reward points, and my birthday money made it possible!! I love it already!! I have only had it a couple of weeks and I haven't even touched the surface of things I can do with this camera!! It's awesome!

That is great!! I still really do not know how to use my camera. One of these days I'll learn-- or so I tell myself :)
yay, i'm SOOOO happy for you! i think you are going to love this little toy, annie - you take such great photos already and i know you'll do such a great job with your new dslr! congrats! :)
