Gene and I had a wonderful time getting away for the homeschool convention! We stayed at the Westin which was super fancy but the best part was that we got a great deal from Hotwire!!! We enjoyed spending time with our friends and eating out the most!! We ate at Houlihan's, Buca di Beppo, PF Chang's and Red Lobster!!! A little bit of everything!! It is such a treat to eat out because we hardly ever get to do by ourselves anymore! Plus, I love looking at homeschool stuff and attending workshops! I finally have gotten all of Grace's school stuff!
Gene's parents came down to babysit for us that night so we could have our weekend away! The kids loved having them down and enjoyed every minute of it!
