Indy 500 Rookie Run.....

Also in May, we let the kids participate in the Rookie Run again. It was Grace's 3rd time and Dax's 2nd time. The race takes place in downtown Indy near the circle which is cool!

The beginning of Grace's race...

Grace made some new friends that day and started off the race holding their hands! I love how she makes friends everywhere she goes!

Dax did a great job too but since he needed Gene's help more than Grace.... Gene couldn't take pictures of his actual race. (I was videotaping it from where I was at and Gene had the camera.) Dax started off with a bang and then got a little scared and started running back towards the start line. Gene decided he might need a running partner and helped him finish the race.

After the races we got some awesome yummy pizza and took it to Military park to have a picnic! The kids enjoyed jumping and running around some more!
